Built for driving in the UAE
Car expenses is a special category with subcategories ready to use: Loan EMI, Salik, Darb, Fuel, Parking, Insurance, Registration (Mulkiya), Service & Maintenance, Traffic Fines, Car Wash, Tyres, Spare Parts, Accessories and Other. You can add your own subcategories to it too.
Its own space
The car space shows what you've spent on the car this month and how it splits across fuel, tolls, parking and the rest, each with its share of the total. Open it from Settings: tap Go to spaces, then Car. In Stats, a Car expenses card shows where the car money went this month.
Fast to log
When you add an expense, Car expenses sits at the top of the category list, so a fuel stop or a parking ticket takes seconds. Regular car costs like a loan or insurance can be added as fixed bills instead, so they're set aside before your daily number is worked out.
Questions
Can I add my own car subcategories?
Yes. Car expenses has subcategories such as fuel and parking, and you can add your own to it.
Should my car loan be a fixed bill or a car expense?
If it's the same amount every month, add it as a fixed bill so it's set aside first. One-off car costs are best logged as car expenses.
